About the Artist
Kimberly King (Born in Chicago, IL, USA) Studied at the Howard University School of Fine Arts, Washington District of Columbia. Kimberly King lives and works in the DMV area. Her numerous group exhibitions include Montpelier Cultural Art Center in Laurel, MD, Torpedo Factory in Alexandria, VA, and the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Public collections include Healing Spaces Mural at the Children’s Hospital Adolescent Center, Washington DC. For the past 16 years, she has worked as a secondary school art educator in Washington, District of Columbia, while developing a studio practice.
